Trimming and Tuning:
1- Insert mast in the mast sleeve leaving the cambers below the entering mast.
2- Pull some downhaul tension, till the mast come out from the boom opening. Place the boom on the mast, and pull some outhaul tension.
3- To place the cambers on the mast, release 5cm on the downhaul, open the zipper, and push the cambers on the mast.
-If the cambers are too hard to place on, then release more downhaul tension and a bit of outhaul tension.
-If the cambers are jumping off the mast, just pull a bit more downhaul to make them stay on.
4- Pull full downhaul as to settings shown on the sail tack, and adjust outhaul system according to wind strength.
Important: Close camber zippers only after the sail has received the full downhaul.
5- Put enough tension on lower 4 battens, and just enough to remove the wrinkles on the upper ones. |
