-5/6 battens
-X-ply in sections for reinforcement.
-Vario top for improved mast compatibility.

Trimming and Tuning:
1. Insert mast straight through into the luff sleeve. Move to boom opening area for easier insertion of the mast on last meter of the luff pocket. Do not force.
2. Set the base by using the P7 pro tuning design. Place your base on the marks placed on the foot of the sail and take reference from the drawing on exact position of your base ring.
3. Pull downhaul leaving 1cm to the end.
4. Set boom according to recommended length and place it on mast. Attach the end of the boom to the clew and set some out haul as advised. 2 cm negative boom settings are appreciated by the sail for better comfort in all conditions.
5. Adjust batten tension as explained above.
Downhaul:
Pull downhaul as instructed. All measurements have been taken so that the downhaul pulley has to go all the way down to the pulleys of the base. For some sails 1cm space is left between the 2 pulleys: check measurements on the tack of the sail. This will get you better acceleration even in low end winds.
Outhaul:
Don't over pull boom setting. Keep the clew neutral for higher comfort. In case the wind increases the clew can be pulled tighter even by 2-3cm according to pressure desired. |
