The binding is designed specifically to use with the Slingshot 4 hole mounting system. If an older type of board
is used with our boots then a transition plate is needed. Using the 4 hole mounting allows the boot to rotate on a
center disk and holds the system down to the board from the center, not from the sides. This makes for a more secure feel and increases the performance of the ride.
